Finishing Up My First Book

I’m going to be pretty busy in the next few weeks because I’m finishing up my book called We Need a Completely Different Kind of Education. The publishing date hasn’t been set in stone yet, but it looks like it will be available in March or April. I’ll have a paperback version as well as an e-book version available for your reading pleasure. Here’s the short synopsis:
Jan Simson, 20, describes how traditional schooling was hijacked by the market, and how standardized education has strategically dumbed down many generations in order to prepare more slaves for the big money-making machine. However, man was created for far more than just work and earn, pay taxes and burn. The education system does not need further improvements or funds – it needs a complete reinvention. This requires a new education blueprint, boldness to name the actual enemy, and inventors, pioneers and entrepreneurs to establish a “city on the hill” in the area of education that – defying a world dominated by fear and greed – demonstrates that the impossible is possible.
This project has been going on since April of 2012. I’ve learned at least 10 gigabytes of stuff during this book-writing experience. As of right now, the book is being reviewed and endorsed by professors, entrepreneurs, businesspeople, public speakers and authors. I’m also working on the cover design and layout with a designer. It’s a lot of fun – you should write a book if you haven’t already.
In the meantime, you can watch this video of a romantically frustrated young man.
Cheers.

Best of luck with the final stages…sounds like it’ll be an important and very interesting book.
Good luck! Don’t do what I did!!!! I keep announcing I am going away and then I find myself coming back to read a blog that I especially like. And slowly am spending more time here than on my book! Finish my friend! Don’t let us pull you back! Can’t wait to see the finished result! Maybe you will inspire me!!!!
